This clause in the contract indicates that the service provider (in this case, a photographer) will use the images captured during the photo services on their blog to showcase the client's story and share it with friends and family. However, the service provider will not include surnames or address details that are more specific than a town or city.

It is important to note that the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) requires businesses and service providers to obtain consent from individuals whose personal data is being processed. In this case, the service provider is collecting the client's consent for using their images on their blog.

The GDPR sets out various requirements for obtaining consent, including that it must be freely given, specific, informed, and unambiguous. The service provider must ensure that the client is aware of the purposes for which their images will be used and that they are comfortable with these uses before obtaining their consent.

It is important to note that the specific requirements for obtaining consent under the GDPR can vary depending on the circumstances, and it is advisable to consult with a legal professional when drafting or reviewing a contract to ensure compliance with data protection regulations.
